Sunday was a bit windy. I started out with a simple 2-stage
rocket that landed 3/4 the way to the end of the first field.
Hmm, not good news for the 2000'+ "G" flights I planned for the
weekend.
I had another parachute deployment failure on an E18-7. The
ejection charge fired, but the parachute was trapped inside the
tube by a fouled shock cord. I flew a buzzer on that
rocket, but the switch was damaged on impact, and turned off. I
only searched an hour for that rocket, with help from a friend
who came to watch me crash rockets. I finished my day off with
another 2-stage flight on the ring-fin contraption.
