November 18, 2006 launch report (11/19/2006)
On Saturday, November 18th, MASA held its twelfth (and last)
launch of the year. The launch was held at the Elk River/Otsego VFW
soccer fields.
Temperatures were in the 30's with cloudy skies and a breeze out
of the NNW. Despite the cool day, quite a few people bundled
up and came out to the final MASA launch for 2006. (The next
launch will be in January.)

It felt like winter outside, but at least there wasn't
any snow on the ground. I brought and flew nine trusty old
rockets. Even better, they all went home again with me.

The totals were: 53 flights, 60 motors. The cumulative
total impulse was 524.5 Ns with an average total impulse of 8.7 Ns.
