MASA Gets the Go Ahead to Purchase NAR Insurance! (7/6/1998)
On Monday July 6th, MASA members voted 9 to 4 to purchase NAR
insurance for the club. Monday nights' vote asked
whether MASA funds should be used to purchase insurance for up to
two club members for the remainder of the calendar year.
Following the meeting, I learned that MASA member Larry Schwartz
recently purchased NAR insurance for himself. Steve Fox also
made a monetary donation to the cause. Thanks to the
generous response of these active members, the cost of insurance for
the club will be only $22.
During the next week, a MASA member will be chosen to receive NAR
insurance and the proper paperwork will be filed with the NAR.
We should be insured by the last launch in July. Thanks MASA
members!
