BATF Update (11/5/1998)
If you haven't already heard, news broke to the rocketry
community recently about pending changes to the regulation of rocket
motors by the BATF. What it basically boils down to is that,
beginning December 22, the BATF has announced that all rocket motors
bigger than "F" will be regulated. The details and
impact on rocketeers are still unclear, but it isn't looking
good. I recommend that you go to the NAR
web site and read Mark Bundick's letter on the subject or go to
the Newsdesk at Rocketry
Online. As I get further information, I will pass it
along.
