MASA goes for the Bronze!
NARTREK Bronze, that is.
Starting in 2002, MASA is encouraging all its
members to participate in the NARTREK
program. If you plan to participate, send us email and we'll
add your name to this page. Then, we can see how we're all
progressing as the year goes by... We'll be having special
themes and contests at launches this
summer to encourage you to make the Bronze flights.

You can download a PDF version of the MASA
NARTREK Bronze Info sheet that was distributed at the May 2002
meeting.
At the end of 2002, the names of all MASA members
who achieve the NARTREK Bronze level (or higher!) will be entered
into a special prize drawing!
A special prize will be awarded to the first MASA
member who officially receives his/her Bronze level certificate of
achievement! On July 27, Mike Erpelding was declared the
winner of this prize! He selected a Neubauer Saturn V 1/396
scale rocket kit.
Note to MASA members who are not NAR members - you
can still participate! You should still print-out the Bronze
packet, follow the rules, and fill in the sheets for your
flights. When you've completed all four flights successfully,
give your packet to me, and I'll award you a special "MASA
Bronze" certificate. If you want the official standing
(including patch & official certificate), you'll need to join
NAR and submit your packet to NARTREK.
