MASA Members Give Launch Demonstration (4/14/1998)
On Friday May 15, Mark Thell and Russ Durkee gave a demonstration
launch to the 6th grade class at Glendale Elementary school in
Savage, Mn. Mark's neice Erin recently presented a report
about rockets to her class. The report was very successful and
her classmates wanted to see some rockets fly, so she asked Mark to
help out. Mark and Russ launched about 10 rockets ranging in
size from a 1/4A to D power, giving about 40 students a good taste
of the hobby.
