ext. 9686. Anyone can call this number to receive up to the minute
status on TSM launches.
Tripoli Southern Minnesota is Prefecture #112 of the
Tripoli Rocketry Association.
It has launches on the fourth Saturday of the month from April
through October and meetings from November through March.
Launches are held near Maple Island, MN. Meetings are held at
the Owatonna airport.
 Most
of the rockets flown at these launches fall into the large or high
power classes. To launch, you must either be a dues-paying
member of the club, or you must pay a launch fee for the day.
Must be a Tripoli or NAR member in order to launch high power
rockets (or join Tripoli on the day of the launch.) Model
rocket pads and launch control system are also available. TSM
welcomes flyers of all size rockets to their launches.
Hot food, portable bathroom facilities, and rocket
vendors (Rocket Technologies) on site.
If you like smoke, flame, and big rockets, this club
could be for you.
Spectators are welcome at club launches.
